Summary:
Car #240 underwent a pretty full rebuild in the off-season of 2006. The tired old 8v motor was replaced with a 16v engine. The factory management was removed and replaced with Megasquirt (running the MSnS-e code). It got a new paint job to go with the third roof the summer of 2006. The car made its original competitive debut at the 2003 Oregon Trail Pro Rally. The old car details can be found here: old details

- Bosch 317cc/min injectors, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
- Fully rebuilt head with a 5-angle valve job. Uses mk4 lightweight hydraulic lifters

- Front: Brembo OEM replacement 280mm vented rotors (transplanted from Corrado G60) and re-drilled for a 5x100 bolt circle (using conversion hubs)
- Rear: Factory Mk3 VR6 rear disc brakes, 225mm, for 5x100 bolt circle.
